CPS Workers Fired During Investigation File Lawsuit
The five CPS workers fired after a Department of Public Safety investigation are suing to clear their names. The employees were held responsible for six thousand unchecked child abuse and neglect reports. Their lawyer tells CBS Five his clients are scapegoats. He says they were fired for what they were directed to do and were supervised doing it.
